A Thrilling Carmina at Cadogan Hall

Thank you to everyone who came to our summer concert at Cadogan Hall in July.

It was wonderful to see the hall so full and the choir was thrilled by such a great response from the audience at the end of each piece.

We loved performing with such dazzling soloists and we were very much charmed by the young singers from Sydenham School  as Carmina Burana’s ‘ragazzi’ (street urchins).

Reviews of our performance have been fantastic:

* “Exhilarating… magnificent… LCS were at their very best”

* “Nerve-tingling stuff”

* “Their diction is so good I could hear every word”

* “LCS are really the biz”

Looking forward to the Autumn, we have an exciting programme ahead, starting with our autumn concert on November 14th, when we will be performing the beautiful Requiem Mass in C by Luigi Cherubini and three motets by Gioachino Rossini, at Goldsmiths’ Great Hall, New Cross.

We look forward to welcoming you to listen or to sing with us! New members are welcome to join us during the first three rehearsals, so please come along on one of these three dates:

* 7th September (start of term)
* 14th September
* 21st September

Hope to see you at rehearsals or at our next performance!
